A myCOVIDteam Member asked a question 💭

Hi All
I stay in Pretoria South Africa
I contracted Covid in May 2022, and despite not being seriously ill, are still struggling with the Long Covid symptoms to this day. It Is Now 3 Years Since I've Been Diagnosed With COVID. I Have Lung Damage Because Of It. Pulmonologist Calls It COVID Fibrosis.
A myCOVIDteam Member asked a question 💭

I see the Pulmonologist 3 times a year and take Cortisone tablets daily. My oxygen level sits around 95%. I have been experiencing lower oxygen levels in the evening and in the morning when I wake up. My Pulmonologist has suggested lung replacement, but said that it is not very successful. Has anyone else experienced what I have and if so, do you have any suggestions?

I’m not experiencing any symptoms and feel back to normal, but my local urgent care directed me to quarantine for an additional 5 days and said there’s no need for retesting after I have already quarantined for a full week. If I’m positive now, and could still be positive even after these next 5 days, am I any less contagious than I am now? Can I see people… read more

I have been dealing with long haul covid since November 2021. I ended up with Covid again and basically, I am back to baseline post covid from September 2021. I have had 4 vaccines. I would like to get the next vaccine, but not sure when is the optimal time to get it. I am hearing differing opinions.
