Hi I have realised from previous experience and from my doctors that when you have indigestion or acid reflux it pushes up and makes you cough. Make sure you eat before taking certain meds and speak with your doctor. Journalise when your coughing starts and what you have eaten before it started. Trust this will be of use to you.

General cures for coughing include drinking extra fluids - especially water, teas, juices, soups etc. Other remedies like honey, pineapple juice or cough drops may also help. The Vicks rub contains menthol oils and is advertised as a cough suppressant. Ask your doc about these or if you need a prescription cough syrup. Take care.

Coughing is actually a natural defense of the body, helpful to expel any inhaled particles or keep the mucus moving up and out in cases of respiratory infections. As long as something is coming out, it is OK but often uncomfortable. The Docs pretty much ignore the first part and only deal with keeping us comfortable.
Apart from what I posted before, What remedies have your docs been offering since the coughs seem to be leftovers from the c0v infection?
