Long haul covid does last I'm 2 years now
As far as I can tell it can affect everything and everyone differently π
I've been fully vaccinated w/boosters and infusions and still contracted COVID (4) times since November 2021
I have had a number of miserable ailments of course, however I have to say the strokes have been the worst yet
All my medical specialists reframed from admitting that COVID and or the Virus were the cause until my most recent stroke a couple months ago when they they stated..

the only thing affected me was after covid my sense of smell and taste have diminished greatly and my immune system is not what it should be

I saw a study correlating amount of protein in diet to Long COVID incidence- less protein was more likely to develop Long COVID- wondering if anyone can speak to their own protein intake? Do you have any anecdotal evidence that this is correlated? thanks!
I think that might be true. I hardly eat protein and it's been 3 weeks and I still feel awful. The rest of the household recovered within 10 days. π
I had covid in december, do I have immunity to another episode of covid for any length of time??

My husband is 82 and diebetic he has covid. It was horrible watching covid attack him. He had a light heart attack, and his kidneys are shutting done this I s the 3rd day that he has been in there.
I have read conflicting reports on this and am wondering because no one in my family ever had cataracts and now I do and I have also recently had squamous cell carcinoma.

I tested positive for 27 days and my Doctor said if you test positive assume that you are contagious.
